Gypsy,
Was just watching "Breaking Amish" and heard your song " your sins will find you out" as a back round song, I ran the iPhone App " SHAZAM" that figured out the song and the artist..i yahooed' your name and downloaded the song... I have been playing 12 string for 35 years and just discovered you...praise God! Phenomenal! I am the president of a Christian 501c3 here in So Cal and we are speaking with " the whosoevers" about an event this coming OCT... I dont know how often you make it to the west coast. You and the music you have created would be a great fit for our event.....! Sonny of POD and Manifest are checking their schedules to see if its a fit... In Christ,

How's it going, brother? Came across your name researching some Gibson guitar stuff. If you don't remember me, you and three co-workers gave up a January Saturday morning in 2004 to show me some Firebird VII's. I still listen in to your message and great tunes. Best wishes, Curt

I remember the Tasmanians. You always seemed to get the better gigs than us back in 1965. We played mostly from Miami to Rivera Beach (Music Casters).
Glad to see you are still at it. So am I. I was the drummer.

Hi Gypsy!
THANK YOU THREE TIMES!
I read my own comment in the guestbook again and couldn't believe that the missing songs were already there! No other musician would ever do that. As I wrote an Email to the makers of the documentation of "History of the Chopper", I didn't even got an answer.
GOD BLESS YOU!

Hello Gypsy!
It was in the last week of March 2007 that I saw a documentation in TV called "History of the Chopper" on the Channel DMAX which is essentially an advertising channel for Discovery Channel. I saw a couple of old videos of the Hells Angels riding up and down the highway, real oldschool Rockers who particularly must be around their 70s today if still alive. And during that unbelievably cool video, a song was played that was maybe the best song I ever heard.
Because some speaker was talking during the video, I just clearly understood the words "Lay it down" in the chorus. And I began to search in the internet. There were a bunch of songs named "Lay it down" or "Lay it on down", but it was never yours. I was never so eager to get s song like in this case.
Then I got the idea to search not only with the words "Lay it down" but also with the words "Got trouble at home" - another sentence which I had understood in the video. That was it. I was happy like as a little child on X-mas and immediately I found this greatful site.
I love the Beatles, the Stones, the Who, the Kinks, the Troggs, ACDC, Alvin Lee, Bachman Turner Overdriver, a few songs of Bob Dylan, Velvet Underground, Joan Jett, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, Steve Earle and ZZ Top - but for me you're the best musician in the world!
Tearfully, just on my favorite album REVELATION BLUES, four songs are missing (Holy Son, Preacher, Mean Woman Blues and That's how it goes) so I can't download them.
I tried to buy the CD at Amazon but what I got was some Hip Hop-Crap, an album which was coincidental named "Revelation".
It would be absolutely greatful if the four missing songs could be added here on the play & download-site. Anyway you're the only musician I know who allows his fans to download his music on his website for free and already that is incredible - you're on a mission and you don't let the people pay to hear what you have to say.
All the best!

Hey Gypsy
I love listening to your music. Keep spreading the good word we need it. We need more of your music in the world. The good Lord has a special place for you.

I am listening to the new CD and I am at trac 5..I have gone back to listen to each of these preceding (1-4) awesome pieces of orchestrally created masterpieces at least two times each. You continue to blow me away partner. Your "above the neck" sequencing of electronically crunched lics that accentuate your voice and message together with the slide guitar rhythms (or, maybe this would better be described as you creating for the listener, a surrealistic environment for audio interpretation) and it clicks.
Short and sweet?? This is your best work yet.. the best mix, accompaniment, vocals, message and instrumental brilliance. I feel solidly that you may be the most talented slide guitar player that I have ever heard..and I have known you since the Tasmanians in High school, in 1967 !!! and best of all is that there is no contest on it being a testament from the Lord, through you !!!
Love you,
Brett

Bonjour Gypsy,
Amicalement.
