The True Shepherd

Jesus is talking about being the true shepherd in: - John 10:10: "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."

- The thieves take life; the shepherd gives it.

- Life here refers to eternal life, God's life.

- With Christ, life on earth will reach a much - higher quality

- And then - in heaven - it will be complete and perfect.
