Peter was on a missionary trip to Caesarea. He had a vision from God where both clean and unclean foods were mixed. The interpretation was that God's Word was now not only for the Jewish nation, but for the Gentiles, the Samarians and all nations. Peter is speaking to a Gentile household in Acts 10:34: "Then Peter opened his mouth and said: 'In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him." "God shows no partiality" - The good news of the gospel is not for a certain population. In every nation every kind of person is welcome into the kingdom of God. This is precisely what Christ had told the apostles. Our nation would do well to observe this practice.
